Motorola Droid official announce

Yesterday Google officially announced new version of its OS and already today Motorola and Verizon Wireless unveiled long-awaited Motorola Droid communicator. This device is slider with full QWERTY keyboard. The operating system is the latest version of Google Android – Android 2.0 Eclair. This high end device features customizable user interface, more that hundred widgets support, Google voice search support, special application that provides quick access to the most popular sits and social networks. The list of performance attributes is also impressive Motorola Droid is equipped with 550 MHz CPU, 3.7 inch touch screen with 480×854 px resolution, 256 Mb RAM, 512 Mb ROM, microSD card slot (up to 32 Gb), Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), Bluetooth 2.1+EDR with A2DP, 3.5 mm audio jack, GPS module, accelerometer, proximity sensor and 1400 mAh battery. The camera of this communicator has 5 megapixel resolution, has double LED flash, autofocus, geotagging and picture stabilization functions. New Android device measures 115.8х13.7х60.0 mm and weights 169g. Motorola Droid will become available in Verizon’s shops on November, 6 and will cost $200 with two year contract.
