Nokia is almost ready to release new version of its operating system for mobile devices. Recently David Rivas, Nokia VP, demonstrated user interface of Symbian^3. It is three times as faster that UI of Symbian S60 5th edition (60 fps instead of 20 fps). That means device running on Symbian^3 OS will have something more high-powered that ARM 11. It is also said that new versions of popular operating system for smartphones will support full multitasking and multi-touch technology (both capacitive and resistive displays are supported). It is expected that Symbian^3 will be released by the end of this months. The first device running on this OS will become available in the third quarter of 2010.
