Sony Google TV prototype

Yesterday Sony showed at the IFA 2010 in Berlin the world’s first TV with Google TV support. This platform makes access to video content in Internet on your television as easy as changing the channel. It is based on Google Android operating system, Chrome web browser (with Flash 10.1 technology support) and Intel Atom CE 4100 media chip. Besides the main functions Google TV has access to Picasa, Netflix and Google Web Applications services. As for this Sony’s TV set it is know that it has 40 inch LCD display with Full HD resolution (1920x1080px).
